📍 Location: Virtual (Zoom link provided upon registration)

About the Event:
Rural and remote nurses often walk with patients and families through some of life’s most sacred and most challenging moments. In small communities, professional boundaries often blur as we care for those we know and love, all while navigating our own personal grief.

This unique and heart-centered session, led by a certified death doula, will explore:

  • The role of rural nurses in death, dying, and loss
  • How to hold space for others while caring for yourself
  • Compassionate presence and communication strategies
  • Navigating cumulative grief and professional boundaries

Whether you’ve sat at many bedsides or are early in your rural practice, this conversation offers validation, support, and practical tools grounded in compassionate end-of-life care.

✨ Open to all CARRN members — registration required to receive the Zoom link.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful space with you.
